Over the next couple of weeks, we will be relaunching our SOCIAL BUMPS whatsapp community. BUMP&CO. is all about ensuring mums and dad feel supported with a strong foundation of peers and professionals around them as they take on this exciting new chapter.
Based on this, we will be reshuffling this pre-baby space to build connection and allow for sharing of information, ready for relaunch in November.

Midwife Midwife Live Talk is a regular Zoom call brought to you by Karin Siegler (German and Hong Kong registered midwife) and Anna King (moderator and mother of two)! An international supportive WhatsApp group and interactive (free of charge!) Zoom calls - a place to have real conversations with experts in the field and authentic people.
Join this upcoming Midwife Live Talk under the topic Birth Partners & Dads to chat with father of three, Michael Chang. You can ask your questions on how dads and birth partners can best support mum during labour and navigate the strenuous time of the fourth trimester.
This zoom session is targeted at birth partners/dads, dads to be, their partners and anyone interested in the journey of fatherhood.

INFANT FIRST AID COURSE
As your little one grows and develops, upskill yourself in family first aid to gain skills and confidence for dealing with everyday injuries, illnesses and emergency situations.
This short course will teach parents basic first for children from newborn to 18 years old, with practical hands-on training.
Topics include: Basic first aid, Recovery position, CPR, Choking, Burns, Illness management, Home safety

Gross Motor Development + Baby Yoga

NAVIGATING THE POST-PARTUM PERIOD
Designed to support new-mothers, but all mothers (and their babies!) are welcome. This 4-week program looks at the ins and outs of motherhood, the process of matresence and provides a safe space for mothers to connect unapologetically in the mess of it all. Each week has a different focus, with research, talking points and group discussion.
This 4-week program by Dr. Kim Carder focuses on mental health support in the post-partum journey.

WHAT'S BEEN BUMPIN'?
DECEMBER BUMPS ARE GO!!!
We kicked off the December due date classes, covering preparation for baby's arrival, what to buy and we've started to dive into labour and delivery in the first 2 sessions. In the upcoming 2 weeks we will cover navigating HK hospitals and hear from parents that have given birth recently, followed by a complete guide to newborn feeding. THERE'S SO MUCH TO LEARN!
BABY CAFE - CENTRAL
We welcomed Alicja from Tinklestar at the BABY CAFÉ this week. It was great to learn about things you can do from newborn stage to start to introduce the idea of potty training to your little one. I know a lot of us worry about our nappy use and the impact on the environment so potty training as early as possible can be our bit for the environment!
Was great to see all the mums chatting with other mums and the babies were as good as gold whilst they made their new friends and learnt about potty training too!
BABY MEET-UPS!
