Paediatricians in Hong Kong: BUMP&CO. Community Recommendations
Choosing a paediatrician for your baby can feel like a big decision, especially in those early weeks when everything is new.

This list is based entirely on parent recommendations, those mentioned most frequently are highlighted, but all names below come highly recommended by our community.

Hong Kong Island
Causeway Bay/Island East
GP Options
Dr Olivia K.W. (in Taikoo Shing, just because she's a pediatrician very close to where we live).
Simon Wong (in Causeway Bay, used to working with expat families and very familiar with other medical systems like UK and France; great and tries to accommodate last-minute consultations when it's urgent).
Little Angel (in Wan Chai, GP).
Dr Vincent Chan (Room B, 9/F, Hang Seng Causeway Bay Building, 28 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay; 2894 8445 / 2882 8640; charged HK$400 both times including medication, very experienced and good value for money, does not ask patients to do unnecessary things for money).
Emergency
St Paul Hospital (GP 24/7 not always paediatrician, very reasonably priced HK$280 to 470 depending on day and time for consultation; waited 45min to 1 hour evenings/weekends, better than A&E).
Sanitarium Hospital or Gleneagles (emergency); HA hospital prioritises babies and pregnant women so you don’t need to wait.

Immanuel Health - Dr David (for over 1 year).
Emergency

This is a community-led list, built from real experiences of BUMP&CO parents.
Finding the right paediatrician is personal - what works for one family may not for another - but we hope this gives you a helpful starting point.
If your baby is seriously unwell, please go directly to your nearest A&E or call 999.

We’re always updating our lists as the community grows - if you have a paediatrician or clinic you love, we’d love to hear from you.
